ASX- and TSX-listed Perseus Mining’s Nyanzaga gold project, in Tanzania, continues to advance towards first gold production in the first quarter of the 2027 calendar year, with construction milestones recently achieved.

These include good progress on pre-stripping of the mining area, while all carbon-in-leach tanks are at full height and hydrostatic testing is under way.

Mill installation has started, two tailings storage facility embankments have been completed and are ready for lining during this month and camp brick and iron accommodation has been completed.

The resettlement programme institutions have now been completed, with the Sotta East and Sotta West schools completed.

The company also highlights that it has achieved eight-million lost-time-injury-free work hours.
