Benus acquires Forever Resorts South Africa
Investment company Benus Trade and Invest, a subsidiary of diversified investment company Community Investment Holdings (CIH), has acquired hospitality and leisure group Forever Resorts South Africa, for an undisclosed amount.
The transaction presents opportunities for Forever Resorts’ continued strategic growth and development, says Forever Resorts MD Eugene van Jaarsveldt.
“We are excited about this next chapter of Forever Resorts and look forward to working closely with our new owners as we continue to build on the strength and potential of this business. Forever Resorts has been part of the South African hospitality landscape for several decades.
“Our focus has always been about people – our guests, our team and the communities we are privileged to serve. They remain at the heart of everything we do,” Van Jaarsveldt says.
Forever Resorts will continue to operate under its well-known flagship brand, thereby ensuring that all existing resorts, hotels and guest offerings remain a core part of its ongoing operations. This marks a continuation of the Forever Resorts brand, while opening possibilities for the future, he says.
Forever Resorts reaffirmed its commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality, the highest standards of service and providing memorable family experiences.
“Our focus remains on building on the reputation of Forever Resorts, driving continued growth, nurturing the valued relationships that have contributed to our success, exploring new opportunities and continuing to create safe, innovative and extraordinary experiences for our guests.
“The relationships we have built with our guests are one of the greatest assets of this business, and we will continue building those connections,” Van Jaarsveldt says.
As the new custodian of Forever Resorts, CIH has committed to building on the brand’s heritage, preserving the destinations and ensuring they remain accessible and continue to be enjoyed by South Africans for generations to come.
