The project entails the hybridisation of the Escatrón (Zaragoza) peaker power plant with renewable generation facilities.
It includes the installation of three wind farms, each equipped with 6 MW wind turbines, and a 47.2 MW PV plant located across the municipalities of Sástago, Chiprana, Caspe and Escatrón. The total installed capacity will amount to 311.2 MW, exceeding the current output of the thermal power plant (274.6 MW).
